I would get the DELL one, i can't find many detailed reviews of the LG one, but that DELL monitor is currently one of the best 1440p high refresh IPS monitors, beating even LG GL850 with a slightly better contrast and a super fast 4ms avg response time across the whole freesync/gsync range with no overshoot, for that price it's amazing. Unless you do alot of color printing i wouldnt worry about sRGB BLB is a question of luck honestly, doesn't matter if it's a low end or a high end monitor. Just say no to LG unless you enjoy BLB and piss poor contrast. Not sure why the dell doesnt accept the signal on its own (something to do with EDID tables and handshakes in the firmware, I forgot my research on this as it has been a while). I use the ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A 27 also no BLB !!! also runs smooth Monitor Dell 27 S2721DGF 1440p 165Hz IPS 1ms gaming monitor 179. I believe the Dell S2721DGF uses LG panels, so that might explain its ability to accept and downscale the 4K signal (but with the emulator).
